My Story

I graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in business and later earned my MBA from Cornell. Over time, my work increasingly focused on supporting students through standardized testing and the college application process.

For the past 10 years, I have worked closely with students across a range of subjects including SAT and ACT preparation, mathematics, academic writing, and the college application process. I enjoy helping students build strong academic foundations, improve standardized test performance, and develop thoughtful, well-structured applications that reflect who they are and what they hope to achieve.

I was first introduced to college application and test preparation work through a colleague who knew I had a strong background in standardized testing, studying strategies, and writing. Through this experience, I discovered how much I genuinely enjoy getting to know each student’s story, including their interests, experiences, and goals, and helping them find the right way to express those things with clarity and confidence.

One of the most meaningful parts of this work has been seeing students grow more confident in themselves as their scores improve and watching them begin to recognize what they are capable of. It is incredibly rewarding to share in their excitement when they receive an acceptance to a school they have worked so hard toward. Just as meaningful are the moments when students are admitted to schools they feel genuinely excited about and where they can see themselves growing and succeeding. Being able to support students through this process and celebrate those outcomes with them has been deeply fulfilling. Over time, this naturally grew into supporting students through both standardized testing and the college application process.

As a first-generation immigrant, I also remember how meaningful the college admissions process was for my own family. I still remember the excitement we felt when I received my acceptance, and I understand how important this milestone can be for both students and their families.

Many students I have worked with have been accepted to highly selective universities, including Ivy League and other top institutions. I take a structured and personalized approach to tutoring, ensuring that each student receives support tailored to their strengths, goals, and timeline.

In addition to academic tutoring, I have experience helping students and young professionals organize their experiences, develop resumes, and communicate their strengths effectively. This perspective allows me to support students not only in improving test scores, but also in presenting a cohesive and compelling application profile.

My goal is to help students and families navigate the college preparation process in a structured and easy way, so that they don’t have to worry about missing important steps or feeling overwhelmed.
